He told the other Spider-Men he was a team player. Marvel's Spider-man truly had that teenager and 'friendly' neighborhood hero vibe and was more upbeat.
Like it's a great movie but Spider-man is already an established Hero why throw in all the common Spider-Man themes now? and then again with this movie seemed to be the same theme but yea they basically discredit a lot of what already happened. And I feel like the whole second movie was about Peter also stepping up and being responsible. Like Marvel Peter had already told Tony the equivalent of 'power = responsibility' with the 'when you can do the things I do and you don't and bad things happen, they happen because of you' I always thought that was an acknowledgement that the Ben scene (like the spider bite) happened off screen.
I loved this movie but it definitely felt like a transition into the more traditional Spider-Man plot-line. And I feel like they replaced a lot of that progress. My thoughts, I really liked how marvel made this Spider-man their own up to this point. I understand that there’s a lot of people that are glad to see this purist return-to-origin kind of reset, but I was really excited that the Iron Spider suit was becoming regular, and it wasn’t… I dunno, familiar? What is everyone else’s thoughts? It’s now the exact same story that we’ve seen before, and I worry I’ll get bored again, because the stakes will be the same kind that we’ve seen before. (I know we have to stay true to the comics but I know SOME people out there agree) Tom Holland having access to Stark tech, still struggling, being an Avenger, and going through all of this stuff with high school felt new and I was genuinely excited to see a kind-of new take on Peter Parker, where he’s still struggling with small time problems but they could be scaled up if need be, and it was the first time in a while I was excited to see what was next for Spider-Man, because there was so much newness to the characters that could be involved that it wasn’t “If you read the comics you know what’ll happen” After the ending of NWH, I find myself a bit disappointed, because to my understanding, they reset all of the progress and things that have happened to this Spider-Man. They were good, but it was getting a bit predictable. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the Tobey MacGuire and Andrew Garfield movies, but again, it was just the same story we’d seen. When Tom Holland’s Spider-Man was introduced, I was blown away by how fresh and new it all felt.
I hopped around the different series as I grew up, but eventually fell off because while I understood that the theme and general story of Peter Parker had to be true to the source material, it all got a little same-y to me. The digital artist on Instagram has now posted some artwork imagining this casting. So, I used to read a ton of the spider-man comics when I was a kid.
This has fueled speculation that Cruise may appear as a Tony Stark variant. We'll be going much further into the multiverse in Into the Multiverse of Madness, as the title suggests, and it has Marvel fans wondering what other big tricks could be up the studio's sleeve. In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) fractures the multiverse while trying to help out his pal Peter Parker (Tom Holland).
At least not until now, if the rumors of his involvement in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessare true. Perhaps seeing Cruise in the Iron Man suit just wasn't meant to be for Marvel fans. when the first Iron Man was released in 2008. As far back as the 1990s, the actor had expressed an interest in playing the role, but as we know now, the part would eventually go to Robert Downey Jr. For decades, there have been rumors of Tom Cruise playing Tony Stark in an Iron Man project.
